my view is apoe4 is great to help people identify risk early on but at the same time nobody gets off the hook
I do think you know I applaud you for doing it and I'm really glad you did decide to do this because I I've always said I really wish every single person would know their apoe genotype early in life
the good news is the earlier you know this the more you can do to mitigate risk
I think you will in time you having this Gene is probably a blessing because of the motivation that will give you to yeah it's this is going to motivate you to take steps today that most people your age would never think about until they're in their 50s or 60s
it is very valuable for someone like Chris to know that he has APO E4 because the earlier you take steps to prevent the exacerbating risk factors the better your odds
