a lot of people think of schizophrenia is a neurodegenerative disorder and even with the inflammation hypothesis you can think of it like you know if all that inflammations been eaten away your brain for decades like oh at some point it's gonna start rusting beyond repair like you can't can't just wash it and have it all come out all clean like at some point that corrosion is gonna take in and it's gonna actually have an effect just like rust on a car like at some point it's not the same thing at some point you can't just clean it off and it's all gonna be good and that's the way most people thought of schizophrenia
