and HDL interestingly is not felt to be an a thorough genic particle I don't think Nathan and I believe that LDL is atherogenic either but HDL is classically not considered to be an a thorough genic particle and yet it's present in two orders of magnitude higher that is a hundred times higher amount than LDL in the body and it carries 30% of the cholesterol in the body and it's a smaller particle than L do yep so why would it if LDL is atherogenic why is HDL not atherogenic and of course neither of us believes that LDL is atherogenic but again it's there's these interesting arguments of just if we're think about first principles like how is this even possible that why is an HDL particle not toxic to the endothelium when people are claiming that LDL is toxic to the endothelium doesn't make sense to me it is pretty strange pretty strange
