so I couldn't do my long long swims in the ocean in the bay because it was it's reverse acclimating I actually had to learn to do long swims in the heat yeah so a different yeah totally different you know there's a sweet spot like 70 degrees is perfect there you know sort of 66 to 72 is really the right temperature for marathon swimming so if you're you know if you're doing a swim in the 60s you actually actually have to train in the 60s and this was just the reverse it was training the 80 so I had to do all these long swims in a pool
