i would argue that the primary driver of disease in the population is a diet that's based around ultra processed hyperpalatable foods so combinations of refined grains added fats added sugars salt flavoring basically you know everything that's delicious i think that promotes the passive over consumption of calories which leads to gradual weight gain especially over the holiday seasons when people tend to eat more food and over time it's just like this giant cluster of sugar and fat and energy poisoning so to speak that drives the disease
