what was fascinating to me was why does some get stuck right why does some get stuck on that proteoglycan layer which is a layer of proteins in the intima there's like a stickiness so in the book I suggest that atherosclerosis might be triggered by stickiness of the LDL and stickiness of the intima layer because if LDL is always moving into that intima and then moving back out which it appears to be some of the sort of LDL tennis balls get coated in velcro and they get stuck there
