if you put the level at like 35 they find a preponderance of kids who have increased plant sterols in their circulation and they find mutations in ABC G5 G8
if you are heterozygous for a loss of function mutation in ABG 5g8 you also have exactly as you said increased cytosterol and capacitoral levels
