there are um at least two places in particular where such veins are like where such clots rather are life-threatening the first is if they occur in the brain and the typical area where this occurs is on the so obviously if you enter the skull uh underneath here you have sort of something called the dura and it has sort of a very large vein that runs on the inside from front to back and a clot that occurs in there is life-threatening the other place where blood clots can be very immediately life-threatening is in the lungs these are called pulmonary embolisms
