they do stratify it by like alcoholics versus non-alcoholics like let's say we're testing cardiovascular mortality we're not going to test smokers versus non-smokers or you know dissaturated fat only increase the risk in women or not like they they do split them out into subgroup analyzes they will have like above 75 under 75 years of age they'll have diabetic versus non-diabetic they'll have BMI waist circumference I mean you look at April b or LDL whatever you know whatever you're measuring the studies don't just throw everybody in together and say oh you know here's the conclusion I mean they do stratify like they say among smokers the people who had the highest LDL had the highest stroke rates for example among diabetics under age 60 with hypertension only here's what we found you know so so that's not true
