Healthcare professionals in the United States are administering inferior lipid care, partly due to a lack of understanding and outdated guidelines.

“I'm sad there's so much what I consider inferior lipid care being administered by health care professionals in the United States but there's nothing I can do about that it's try and teach them one at a time or expose my writings and other people's writings and the data on this as much as I can and is tragic with public health problem number one or number two that this is lag so far behind in part [ __ ] by guidelines and third-party payers who just don't want to pay for different metrics and such other reasons behind it but a big part is they don't understand it”
