but in general as a summary LDL must be interpreted in in the context they can't be interpreted in the vacuum raising levels of LDL on a ketogenic or carnivore diet are not a bad thing given we consider everything else
The evidence is convergent. Multiple independent sources reach the same conclusion, the underlying mechanism is well-characterized, and even the field's most cautious voices treat it as worth doing.

Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.

we see nothing but improvements and everything except of course you know the LDL thing happens
we got labs on these girls you know we're getting blood work on these people what sort of things are we worried about and they're they're saying I think their only play is there and again in a cult colon cancer in 20 years which we're not going to know about because as we've seen their blood work looks fine all the blood work that we do is normal on a carnivore diamond
but we've got thousands of examples of people showing their blood work before during after carnivore interventions and we see nothing but improvements in everything except of course you know the LDL thing happens
I did a carnivore diet my LD L went to 180 but my HDL is now 85 milligrams per deciliter and my triglycerides are 65 milligrams per deciliter
i think that if you are not chugging vegetable oil your ldl is likely to be high and if you are eating saturated fat from animals which i consider to be very healthy your ldl is likely to be high and this is what we see and you're going to be metabolically healthy as well
and you see that there are changes in positive and negative directions triglycerides go down as as you would expect i don't remember what hdl did but it probably went up yeah and then there was a large increase in ldl cholesterol
like if you look at the the survey data i think there was a mean increase of like 30 mix per deciliter and ldl 30 or 40 something like that
