I also want to add that I actually think the biggest problem with the way that the scientific community has thought about Alzheimer's disease aside from considering it to be one disease is not really recognizing that it's a disease of aging I really think that one of the reasons why the preclinical research has been disappointing at developing therapies for Alzheimer's disease is because very rarely have people approach that from the perspective that this is a disease of Aging and so something that can affect the mouse models of Alzheimer's disease when we create this disease in young mice may not work the same way in an aged person or an aged animal
