So the first answer is that this is reprogramming, right? So if you're erasing the whole of the epigenetic state of a cell, and taking it back to how it was in the embryo, then you're going to re-differentiate it in the direction you want to the extent that you want. And that's going to make it into let's say, an oligopotent skin stem cell, with its p16 suppressed, the way a regular oligopotent stem cell would be, and the way that you make sure that's true is just by knowing what to do in the re-differentiation process.
