if i had to pick one it's probably both but if i had to pick one i think there's a big genetic component there um and probably at baseline and then your response to exercise as well
The evidence is convergent. Multiple independent sources reach the same conclusion, the underlying mechanism is well-characterized, and even the field's most cautious voices treat it as worth doing.

Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.
Would love a "what would change this verdict" RSS feed. Sign me up if it exists.
i do think that there's a big genetic component to
if i had to pick one i think there's a big genetic component there — and probably at baseline and then your response to exercise as well but it it seems to me that most people will gravitate towards events that they're pretty good at and they don't do the things that they're not good at
if you do your steady state Runner cyclist swimmer rower things like that um I I would generally be looking for their slow to fibers be very large uh if if not the same size as their fast fibers often times larger at a baseline it's not the case
I I do think that I could improve certain aspects of that for sure but I I don't think it's going to uh myself move me to you know up a couple notches
if I had to pick one I think there's a big genetic component there um and probably at Baseline and then your response to exercise as well but it it it seems to me that most people gravitate towards events that they're pretty good at and they don't do the things that they're not good at so I I think that makes it difficult to study this anyway but I do think that there's a big genetic component to it
