so you're just kind of adjusting it constantly so the 125 lb exercise tell us what that was again you parachuting with that with that pack so you jump in with that which is it's a team effort to kind of waddle to the to the airplane and get on the airplane and kind of collapse back and sit down and then you hook up and then you're you know you're you're jumping into you know an air strip in North Carolina from what elevation not not too high I mean I don't know 800 feet th000 feet I mean so your parachutes coming open immediately yes well so it's it's not a Halo jump so it's a static line jump which basically means that you have your your your backpack at that time is Your Parachute and you hook up into the side of the plane it's like what you saw in banded Brothers one of the greatest series ever created you see them hook up and then as they're going out the parachute immediately and your your ruck sack is off your belt and it's dangling in between your legs the issue is you I mean what what's holding it though you're holding it with your hands it to to your belt no it's attached to your belt it's attached to your belt it's fully attached and then you you kind of lower it down so there's a lowering line right before you you land you lower it down because if you don't you're I mean it's just the the risk of injury like breaking your legs or whatever the way that you would fall would be harder cuz you actually want to like like a parachute Landing fall you land with two feet and then you kind of roll your legs over to disperse the the force against your your body it still hurts but you know you fall faster with all that weight and you just land hit like a sack of potatoes and I just remember landing and I I'm doing it right now too I kind of wiggle my toes and my knees and like all right nothing's broken good get up and then you got to get that thing on and you're like getting on all fours like you get it on and kind of roll over like a dog and you like you're you're you're grabbing the back of your hamstring to pull one of your legs forward and then pressing up and it's a whole thing now once you have your team you're one person does not have a Ruck on and then you help somebody else get up once you get it up it's easier it's still really hard but it's easier and and it's a team effort to get down and then get back up and it's it's just excruciating and it's you know if that's going to be the hardest thing in in your life you're also in the wrong the wrong business cuz you know that's basically just physically demanding and what was the chat the physical part of that how long did you guys have to go I mean that was 18 hours insertion that's right you said 18 hours my God I mean and it's just horrific it is so slow and it's you know it's in a combat situation is which means it's you know they have timelines that they're trying to hit and basically it just it really really sucks and it's a right I mean it's Pine Forest North Carolina Pine Forest so there's some some hills and it's it's not hard it's not hard balls it's not concrete so how often do you take the pack off to rest gosh as little as POS you just want to get there but you know it's like all of a sudden they simulate that oh there's potential enemy over their hide you know and like the last
