there's two options one you're gonna get in the water and actually feel good you're gonna just be having a good day and you'll know 1500 yards into this like it's gonna be a good day and the good news is if that's the case at least you're not gonna suffer for the next eight hours the bad news is you didn't build the mental toughness that you actually want for the real swim when it hurts conversely you're gonna get in some days and that first 1,500 is gonna feel horrible and it's only gonna get worse and you're gonna it's gonna be the worst eight hours of your life relatively speaking when you finish it'll be incredible because you'll have no you persevered through it and you didn't know which of those two you wanted in the short term you sort of wanted the good day of course
