it stimulates a hormone called acth that stimulates cortisol steroids it also stimulates the eyelids to produce glucagon which is a kind of counters the effects of insulin and it also uh works to up regulate the fructose pathways in the liver where is this receptor found is it only central it's central but it's also in the adrenal gland and it's also in the eyelid and in obesity it seems to be expressed in the liver
