in most of this research nearly all of it they're feeding pure fructose and not only in rats but also in humans we don't absorb pure fructose very well it shares a recept for absorption with glucose and everywhere that you find fructose in nature and any food that you're going to consume even not nature even the high fructose corn syrup soda it is paired with glucose when you provide a a fructose sweeten beverage or po or pure fructose in some other way we have a lot of trouble absorbing it it goes down to the colon feeds bacteria that produce a lot of endotoxin and that then causes massive issues at the liver that alone cause has been shown to cause fatty liver disease and all sorts of issues there
