when it comes to gut health I mean there's a number of important things right we need to be able to break our food down which requires adequate stomach acid adequate bioflow adequate digestive enzyme production we need to have good motility so that the food is not sitting in the intestines allowing bacteria to grow on it and for you know allowing it to ferment but then that next piece is that we need to make sure we have a healthy microbiome that is not overgrown especially with certain harmful species and that also is not has not grown up into the small intestine so our small intestine should be relatively clear of microbes
