i do think about the water that i bathe in but this is actually a pretty simple fix i mean you can do a whole house filter but you can also go on amazon and just get shower filters

but if chlorine and pesticides and pharmaceutical residues are going on your skin when you're showering especially when you're vasodilated and your pores are open in the warm water if you're taking a warm shower as opposed to a cold shower it is something to think about
