the addition of carbohydrates in my diet dropped my shbg which made the free testosterone go way up
The headline is broadly defensible, but the qualifications matter. Effect sizes vary by population, the strongest claims rest on shorter trials, and credible voices push back on how it's typically framed.

Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.
Would love a "what would change this verdict" RSS feed. Sign me up if it exists.
this is a more recent testosterone panel from a little over a year ago you can see the shbg is now 59 the total is 742 and the free is 641. that is picograms per ml so the units are different and the total testosterone bioavailable is 123. i want to get this tested again more recently and i will share that with you guys but you can see that there are pretty significant changes that happen in many people's hormones that mirror mine with a ketogenic diet
