t4 is the only thing that converts into the reverse t3 the inactive form okay
The evidence is convergent. Multiple independent sources reach the same conclusion, the underlying mechanism is well-characterized, and even the field's most cautious voices treat it as worth doing.

Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.
Would love a "what would change this verdict" RSS feed. Sign me up if it exists.
t4 has four iodines on the molecule and i'll show a diagram of that in a moment and t3 has three iodines reverse t3 also has three iodines on the molecule but they're in different spaces
And reverse T3 is an inactive form.
So there's no pathway to go from reverse T3 back to T3.
If you remove the iodine from the inner ring, you make reverse T3. ... whereas T3 is a super active molecule, reverse T3 is dead.
