I would get a full thyroid panel most physicians will just order a TSH and I would get a full thyroid panel which will consist of a TSH which is a thyroid stimulating hormone free t3 free t3 free t4 and antibodies as well as total t3 and total t4 and the antibodies would be anti TPO and anti thyroid globulin we will go into all of that but I am not satisfied with a just a TSH and ideally in the beginning I think it's also valuable to have a reverse t3
