in my opinion that's a really myopic view because when you zoom out and you look at the roadblocks around the top of the scalp and the evidence that this hair cycling mechanism cannot explain what we presume to be significant decreases to transcutaneous oxygen subcutaneous blood flow to the top of the scalp and then the evidence linking hypoxic environments to increase dht these muscles that are contracting you zoom out and you realize okay yeah when we look at a one millimeter viewpoint it looks like blood flow is a or reduced blood flow is a consequence to pattern hair loss you zoom out the equation gets a lot more complicated reduced blood flow is a driver of pattern hair loss most likely and a consequence of hair shedding
