we did a subgroup analysis where we took one study out that was an outlier uh probably for ethnicity and we just focused on the ones that the western man of european descent so it was ethnically homogenous and that had a larger decrease in testosterone that was 15
those studies showed about 15 decrease so it seems like you get about 15 decrease in testosterone if you cut animal fat specifically
There's a 2020 meta-analysis which shows that low-fat diets are in fact associated with lower amounts of testosterone in men.
