There's also prospective studies that are showing, you know, people who hit a certain threshold in that postprandial response are more likely to develop diabetes down the road even if their glucose was, quote unquote, normal by our traditional diabetic diagnostic criteria.
So, what we know from that is that a lot of the initial glucose dysregulation, so um, patterns that might be setting off some red flags, actually happen in that postprandial response first.
And what we know is that a lot of normal glycemic individuals, normal as in those traditional metrics, sometimes up to a quarter of them will show dysregulated glucose levels uh, in that postprandial response.
