Um, and and actually we can improve the cholesterol profile linked to insulin resistance and HDL and triglycerides for example but if you focus on insulin resistance then the cholesterol profile improves but total cholesterol and LDL itself there should be no for the overwhelming majority of people there should not be a public health drive to lower it for the sake of lowering it absolutely not.
There is no such thing as bad or good cholesterol. There is only insulin resistance.
