when you say fat you don't mean fat within adipose tissue you mean fat i mean then you mean fat that's available for use fat that's available for use and so that can come in multiple forms the simplest way to think about it is free fatty acids that are floating in the bloodstream and that may be the most important form of it but there's you know also adipose stores within tissues not subcutaneous white adipose which is typically a healthy place to store fat molecules but you can end up with what people call ectopic fat for example droplets of fat building up in muscle and when those are there they can compete with carbohydrate for being burned
