because these calculators are flawed and they're based on the fact that in population studies age is a risk factor for cardiovascular disease age is not a risk factor for cardiovascular disease as you age there is nothing in your biology that says you should develop more cardiovascular disease in my belief I think that that is a statement and that as you age if you are insulin sensitive your risk of cardiovascular disease stays the same and it stays very very low obviously there are other types of cardiovascular disease that can occur what I'm talking about now is atheroscler cardiovascular disease which is essentially atheroma plaque in the arteries
