the second thing that you see is that HDL and I try to tell my patients I hesitate to call anything as good or bad like HDL is considered to be a good cholesterol and I don't want to call it that but HDL levels do go up but what I found routinely is that LDL levels the healthier you get the leaner you get the more physically active you are the LDL levels as a rule go up and in some of my patients they have gone up into the mid 300s the high 100 is not uncommon the mid to 50s is not uncommon
