I think the Hallmarks as a list a kind of arbitrary list not completely arbitrary because they had some reasons for being there and I don't think any of us would say that those 12 things are not involved in aging
The headline is broadly defensible, but the qualifications matter. Effect sizes vary by population, the strongest claims rest on shorter trials, and credible voices push back on how it's typically framed.
