and sadly many of the patients that went on ventilators did not come off the ventilators I'm sure there were some cases and I would not claim that we should not be using ventilators and patients but even over the course of coronavirus we've seen that other interventions may be more efficacious for these patients in the ICU and sadly a lot of patients that go on ventilators don't get off them ventilation doesn't seem to have been that effective for coronavirus
