So we can draw blood and determine by immunofluorescence the redistribution of LC3 from a diffuse to a punctate from a pattern. And this is then a sort of detection of autophagy that can be applied to human beings as well.
So there is hope for a non-invasive clinically relevant biomarker for autophagy but there still, it seems like there needs to be more work done before that actually happen...
