Bees create 'bee bread' by mixing pollen and honey, which is then fed to the larvae to support their development into adult bees.

“So, they're getting the they're getting the carbohydrates, they're getting the protein from the pollen, they're bringing it back to the hive. They make the bee bread, which you said is a mix of honey and pollen, and they feed that to the larvae. Y and then they're they're sharing and royal jelly, which is an excretion that the nurse bees give off. And they do that for the first three bees for every bee in the hive with the exception of when they're ready to produce a new queen. And they feed them that royal jelly the entire life cycle.”
