essentially what it is it's the formation of scar tissue anytime you put a foreign body inside of inside of a human being whether it's in their knee or implant in the breast the body forms a reaction around it to wall it off and that scar tissue and that's called a capsule normally it's supposed to be soft and pliable like a balloon but if the body forms an abnormal capsule it becomes hard and it contracts or squeezes down on the implant and causes pain and distortion
