Regenerative grazing and grass finishing of all US cattle could sequester more carbon than the cows produce.

“there was recently a paper published that looked at comparison of grass finishing and feedlot finishing systems in the Upper Midwest and they looked at emissions and saw carbon sequestration over I think it was a four year period and what they found was that not surprisingly under the feedlot finishing system there were lower emissions than under the grazing finishing system but that under the grazing finishing system the carbon sequestration that took place in the soil more than offset what was emitted under the grazing finishing system”
