and the big question for our field is which of those rare diseases which of those rare forms of pathogenesis bears any relevance to the common form of wear-and-tear aging right so there may be a small subset of rare diseases where the fan belt is broken at birth right but it may be the case of the fan belt as it turns out is so resilient you never have to change it and it's rarely the cause of a car breaking down but it could be the case that it's actually a sparkplug right it could be the case that there are certain birth defects with a spark plug is actually not working at birth and as it turns out with wear and tear aging spark plugs have to be replaced
