LDL what LDL stands for our low-density lipoproteins and what they mean by that is that last L lipoproteins that's lipid carrying proteins they carry lipids and cholesterol is a lipid and so when they say your LDL is high what they really mean is the total amount of cholesterol found in all of these carriers these low-density lipoprotein carriers when added together that's high for a certain unit of blood
