instead of looking at that as a failure, we have to look at ourselves as scientists who are conducting experiments and paying attention to the data. ... if every experiment that a scientist does succeeds, they're a terrible scientist. Right. Right. The goal is to figure out where it succeeds and where it fails and learn from the failures. We have to look at our own lives that same way and say, "I meant to go run today and I didn't. Let me try and figure out why." And then I'll come up with a plan for the next time.
