I like the fact that a plant-based diet is often gonna be calorically limited so you're gonna have caloric restriction which we know is beneficial talked about that in my podcast with David Sinclair last week and I think this is one of the reasons that plant-based diets work for people is we know that caloric restriction is valuable when you do caloric restriction you turn on sirtuins that turns on other genes that are involved in antioxidant response it's a beneficial effect
