if I see a patient with LP little-a I'm always screening them for aortic stenosis out of the gate I don't care if they're 30 years old I mean many of our patients are in their 30s and 40s but if they have an elevated LP little-a we're doing echo at a minimum and preferably cardiac MRI which is much more accurate to both look at the morphology of the aortic valve and get a very accurate gradient of pressure
