magnesium everyone's magnesium deficient serum magnesium levels aren't helpful i don't think they really tell us what's happening at the tissue level and magnesium deficiency actually further exacerbates their insulin resistance
The evidence is convergent. Multiple independent sources reach the same conclusion, the underlying mechanism is well-characterized, and even the field's most cautious voices treat it as worth doing.

Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.

i think a lot of magnesium deficiency and you mentioned this earlier is due to insulin efficiency or insulin resistance excuse me that in the state of metabolic dysfunction quote insulin resistance we are wasting magnesium and as you said magnesium deficiency can exacerbate uh metabolic dysfunction insulin resistance and i think it goes the other way as well metabolic dysfunction insulin resistance causes magnesium deficiency
the majority of that magnesium deficiency is related to metabolic dysfunction
the ultimate root cause fix for magnesium deficiency is probably going to be again helping people understand metabolic health how to correct insulin resistance
it's not that you're not getting enough magnesium generally speaking it's because you're wasting magnesium because you are metabolically unhealthy that is the reason for metabolic that is the reason for magnesium deficiency that is rampant in our population people it doesn't matter if you supplement a ton of magnesium if you remain melanbolically unhealthy because you will waste it
a lot of magnesium deficiency probably happens because so much of the population is obese and Insulin resistant and that causes wasting of magnesium right yes hyperinsulinemia will increase the loss of magnesium in the urine and it will also decrease the ability of magnesium to get into the cell
hyperinsulinemia will increase the loss of magnesium in the urine and it will also decrease the ability of magnesium to get into the cell and so you basically your body is in unable to utilize magnesium because there is a significant insulin component to driving both magnesium and potassium into the cell
