there is a lot of meat consumed there just as mary is suggesting and then one more here the determinants of all-cause mortality and incidence of cardiovascular disease in older adults this is probably looking at the exact same study of the korea study of blue zones this one is looking at all cause mortality instance of cardiovascular disease and both of the studies are going to point to the fact that people there do do live longer than the average but it's certainly not because they're avoiding meat because they have lots of meat in their diet
