people like your mom often fall through the cracks in medicine because they're viewed as crazy so we have a bad habit in medicine of dismissing patients when we don't know what's wrong and they don't fit into an obvious bucket so you say well look she was totally healthy and now she's a wreck it's it's got to be in her mind you know she's got to be having a nervous breakdown there's got to be something going on and it's it's you know I see this a lot and I I'd get approached a lot by people who are in that situation and it breaks my heart because I don't know how to fix it
