it's you know there was one study that followed 6,000 people with schizophrenia for three years they were all treated at high end academic medical centers so there supposedly getting the best of the best care um and over a three-year period only 4% of them 4% had what they defined as a recovery right and they'd if they defined recovery as your symptoms go away your quality of life is at least adequate like it doesn't have to be good it just has to be adequate and like I don't know about you I'd like a good quality of life myself and but but there's they're settling for adequate here and and then the ability to function in life and that means for most people that means going to work having a job or going to school if you're a bad age and being able to do those things and being able to kind of take care of yourself and be an independent human being an independent adult in society
