one thing that I've thought about is that maybe if you already are in some kind of situation where I hate the word metabolically damaged but I'm just gonna use it but but what's gonna affect so if you're going to get enough fat some of its presumably coming off your own body right and so if you say if you're thinking from a calories in calories out perspective then you say if you're fasting or if you're eating only protein then the only thing that stands between you and your fat storage is the that you're eating and so it's all it's all a loss but it turns out that you the rate in which you can get fat out of your fat stores is actually limited so if you have more fat mass you have more access to fat so you have an advantage I guess in that way
