When PPAR-alpha is activated, linoleic acid is converted to arachidonic acid, which is then converted to oxidized lipids (oxylipins) like 15-HEET and 20-HEET.

“and when PVR Alpha is activated that linic acid starts getting turned into a radonic acid and then all of these other enzymes are kicking in and converting that arachadonic acid to the oxy lipins or the oxidized lipids and so um you can see all of these things increasing if you give someone canola oil um you you see this heightened conversion of of uh linolic acid polyunsaturated fat to oxidized lipids oxy liens and so and those are the signaling molecules that come out of the omega-6 fats that cause real problems um specifically there's ones called 15 heat and 20 heat”
