stress causes uh affects the several ways first it um i don't know if you want to go into all the biochemistry or not no let's do it we're going to bring it back and summarize it but let's let's keep going deep so it inhibits an enzyme called econotase which is involved in the krebs cycle and it basically leads to citrate accumulation in the stimulation of fat production and it also blocks an enzyme called enol a hydratase sorry and that enzyme's involved in beta fatty acid oxidation so it blocks the ah the burning of fatty acids and so what happens is um it reduces the production of atp by blocking uh by and and shunts those the components to make fat and to block the burning of fat so what it's trying to do is it's trying to stimulate fat storage
