and of course what does western medicine say is going on here well it's a combination of bad genetics and we don't really know what's going on so just tell us just tell us a little bit about jerusalem and what you see in people who have macular generation and let me get into what you think is causing this okay well um so i don't know that i could do any better job of you know describing that other than what you what you know you already saw there i mean the um you know pictures worth a thousand words um one of the things i i want to say paul before we get off subject here is that you know there are many parallels between uh coronary heart disease and age-related macular degeneration amd and we've known this for a long time of course there are associations with uh with between macular degeneration and some of these other chronic uh diseases like obesity if we want to call that a chronic disease um metabolic syndrome to a degree um and and heart disease
