obviously you know cyanide is electron transport chain inhibitor and so that leads the whole system just backing up a bit bit and so you can't then transfer electrons from nadh into the electron transport chain and so nadh goes way up nad falls to the floor and then you have no way to make atp and that unfortunately leads to rapid mortality
